The ARI-ZETRIX 016 is a high-performance,
triple offset butterfly valve designed for demanding industrial processes, featuring a double-flanged body for secure connections, a cast/stainless steel construction, and a unique disc design that allows for frictionless 90° rotation, ensuring long life and bubble-tight, metal-seated sealing for liquids, gases, and steam in harsh environments like oil/gas, power, and chemical plants.
Key Features & Design:
- Triple Offset Principle: The disc's centerline, the body seal's axis, and the pipe's axis are all offset, creating a conical sealing action that eliminates friction and wear for leak-proof closure.
- Metallic Sealing: Uses a Stellited (Stellite® 21) seat and a self-aligning sealing ring for reliable, permanent tightness, even at high temperatures and pressures.
- Construction: One-piece body (cast steel/stainless steel), continuous stem, hardened bearings, and optional blow-out protection (API 609).
- Performance: Frictionless 90° rotary movement, low operating torque, vacuum-tight, and suitable for hazardous media.
- Certifications: Firesafe (ISO 10497/API 607), SIL-rated, ATEX compliant, and available with TA-Luft compliant packing (ISO 15848-1).
- End Connections: Double flanged (Fig. 016), but also available in fully lugged (Fig. 018) and butt-weld (Fig. 019) styles.
- Actuation: Can be gear-operated, or fitted with electric or pneumatic actuators.
